The word “reverb” is a musical term that is defined as “the persistence of sound in a particular space after the original sound is removed” – reverb is that lingering echo that adds warmth and richness to much of the recorded music that we hear today. We thought the term fitting for the vision of this website. We want your voice to echo through this site. We want you to share your thoughts on the blogs that are posted each week. We want you to share music and film and art that moves you in a certain way. It might even be art that you’ve created. Reverb is a place for your voice to be heard: a place for discussion, debate, encouragement, and honest self-expression.

Reverb is an online extension of student ministries at Casas Church in Tucson, AZ. Throughout the site you’ll find loads of information about what’s going on with Reframe (our college ministry), Refuge (our high school ministry serving grades 9-12), and Crossroads (our middle school ministry serving grades 6-8).

Reverb is also a community and a conversation. The Reverb Blog is updated weekly with posts that address various issues that relate to living out life as a follower of Christ. These posts are meant to be starting points for discussion and interaction, and we invite your comments and questions. The Encounter page is a space for creative expression of all types.  If there’s a song you like, a video you’re dying to share, a poem that you enjoy, etc. submit it to Encounter to share it with the Reverb community! We also invite submissions of work that you’ve created. If you’re a writer, a painter, a moviemaker, photographer, or any other manner of artist, we invite you to submit your original work to Encounter.
